Distress Tolerance is "The Art of Getting Better at Feeling Bad." Vital for people struggling with unhelpful coping behaviors and crisis urges like self-harm and substance misuse, Distress Tolerance helps us learn to make peace with our most difficult emotions and "ride the wave" without acting in ways that may make situations worse.

DBT can benefit people who struggle with overwhelming emotions and self-destructive behaviors, as well as people generally looking to gain skills to improve their mood, daily functioning, and relationships.

This skills-based group will be co-facilitated by licensed therapists trained in DBT.

Members may choose whether to enroll in the next module (Emotion Regulation), to begin in August.

If you are interested in enrolling in the DBT Distress Tolerance Module, please contact me for more information and to schedule an informational phone call.

Please note that in order to enroll in DBT, you must be currently seeing an outpatient therapist, though that person need not be working on DBT with you.
